Product Info

Our products are made with high quality materials to ensure that our customers are 100% satisfied.

ADHESIVE

We proudly use 3M VHB adhesive to guarantee that our emblems will stay fixed wherever they are placed.  VHB stands for "Very High Bond." This adhesive creates a long-lasting bond that actually builds strength over time. With the ability to bond to a variety of materials including aluminum, steel, glass, plastics and painted and powder-coated surfaces, the 3M VHB adhesive provides a very resilient bonding solution that we trust in.

If you need to remove our emblems from their bonded locations, we recommend YouTubing "how to remove 3M VHB adhesive" and you will find proven ways to safely remove the adhesive without damaging car paint or your chosen bonded surface.

METALLIC EMBLEM

Our emblems start as a 3D design and then are brought to life through a metal die cast process.  They get their chrome like shine from the Nickel Compounds we include in the manufacturing process.  We chose to use Nickel over chrome as Nickel is proven to be more resilient and show less finger prints, scratches, and wear over time while giving off a lustrous appearance comparable to that of chrome.

Our packaging contains a California Proposition 65 warning as our product contains Nickel Compounds and as a result is required to site the warning per the state of California.

This Act, commonly known as Proposition 65 (Prop 65) establishes a list of chemicals which the state of California’s risk assessment process has determined to present a risk of cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.  The Proposition 65 chemical list can be found here.

Proposition 65 Warning

CarEmblemz has instituted a company-wide policy to reasonably make clear that our products may use certain chemicals listed within Proposition 65.  All product shipped to or sold to consumers in California include documentation with the shipment and reference our website.  There are over nine hundred (900) chemicals on the Proposition 65 list and CarEmblemz utilizes some of these chemicals in materials and processes we use.  Although not all products contain chemicals within the list, CarEmblemz is being cautious and diligent in complying with the California Law.  As of January 03, 2020, the chemicals we are aware of and listed within Proposition 65 are:
  • Nickel Compounds - Found in stainless steel, brass, magnets, and nickel plating
